“Player diversity, hard work, determination and consistency are our strongest points,” states coach Kenwin Goden. However, the team still lack experience.
Their preparation for the first edition of the North America and Caribbean Men’s Emerging Nations Championship began in April last year. While they could not play any friendly matches, they managed to have two training sessions every week – covering court training and physical work.
“The opponents we will face are strong and well established in this sport,” says Goden. “Our aim is to establish ourselves as a growing entity in handball. We would like to have some wins and learn from the experiences to become stronger as a team.”
